Overview

With greatly enhanced speed, performance and power, the Shelby GT500 is the pinnacle of the Mustang line-up. Available as a two door coupe, the Shelby GT500 boasts a powerful 5.2-liter V8 engine that produces more than 760-hp and 625 lb.-ft. of torque and is paired with a TREMEC seven-speed auto-shift manual transmission. Offering a plethora of safety features, including Electronic Stability Control, the GT500 comes standard with 20-inch wheels, an independent rear suspension, 4-wheel anti-lock vented disc brakes with brake assist and hill hold control, Intelligent Access with push-button start and heated and ventilated leather sport bucket front seats. Standard tech features include SiriusXM radio, SYNC, 9 speakers, Bluetooth, FordPass Connect 4G LTE WiFi, an integrated navigation system, an 8-inch display screen, AppleLink/Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A Carbon Fiber Track Pack adds 20-inch exposed carbon fiber wheels, adjustable strut top mounts, an exposed carbon fiber instrument panel and GT4 Track Wing as well as RECARO leather-trimmed seats with Miko Suede. An optional technology package includes B&O Sound System by Bang and Olufsen, BLIS (Blind Spot Information System), heated mirrors, voice-activated touch-screen navigation. Several different paint and racing stripe options are available for added customization. The Shelby GT500 is new for 2020.
