Overview

The Mazda6 is a mid-sized sedan with a very striking appearance. It can be nicely equipped with luxury and technology features that are not typically found in its class. The Mazda6 is available in three trim levels: Sport, Touring and Grand Touring. All three trim levels have a 2.5-liter, 184-hp direct injection SKYACTIV four-cylinder engine. The Sport and Touring trims come standard with a six-speed manual transmission with an optional six-speed automatic. The Grand Touring trim is offered with a six-speed automatic transmission only. Standard safety features include four-wheel antilock disc brakes with brake assist, electronic stability and traction control, and tire pressure monitoring. Available features, depending on trim level, include 19-inch wheels, HD radio, an eleven-speaker Bose audio system, blind spot monitoring system, intelligent key system, power moonroof, LED lights, power heated leather seats, automatic climate control and the convenience of Bluetooth. For 2017, all models now include G-Vectoring Control, new steering wheel design, new seatback pocket design and improved sound insulation. The Sport trim now includes a rearview camera, Touring adds Smart City Brake Support, auto headlights and rain-sensing wipers, and the Grand Touring adds traffic sign recognition, radar cruise control, lane keep assist, auto high beams and collision warning.
