Overview
The LINCOLN MKX is the brand's entry into the ultra-competitive five-passenger luxury crossover segment. The MKX is powered by one of two engines a 303-hp 3.7-liter V6 or a 335-hp 2.7-liter EcoBoost twin turbo V6 both paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Trim specific standard equipment includes 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lights, front fog lights, heated mirrors, heated leather front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, an 8-inch touchscreen display, SYNC Services internet access, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity and a HomeLink garage door transmitter. Safety features such as seven airbags, a rear view camera, a low tire pressure warning system, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, hill hold control, rear parking sensors and SYNC 3 911 Assist are all standard. The Reserve and Black label trims add a power sunroof, ventilated front seats, an integrated navigation system, real-time traffic display, a BLIS blind spot warning system and rear collision warning. The MKX carries over with minimal changes for 2017.
