Overview
The Hyundai Elantra is a compact sedan with handsome styling and nice lines. It has excellent interior space with seating for five, an extensive list of standard safety equipment and class-topping cargo capacity. Three engine choices are available for the Elantra, a 147-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder available on the SE, Limited and SE Value Edition, a 201-hp turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder for the Sport, or a 128-hp 1.4-liter four-cylinder for the Eco trim. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual transmission, a six-speed automatic with SHIFTRONIC, or a seven-speed dual clutch. Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, electronic stability control with traction control and seven airbags including a driver knee airbag. Available features include a power sunroof, heated and turn signal equipped exterior mirrors, 17 and 18-inch aluminum wheels, heated front and rear seats, leather seating surfaces, satellite radio, 7-inch touchscreen display, navigation, Hyundai BlueLink and more. For 2017, the Elantra has been completely redesigned inside and out with new engines and new trims.
