Overview

The Subaru Outback is a full-time all-wheel drive wagon with a roomy interior that adds comfort and luxury to your trip, whether it be on-road or off. The Outback is powered by one of two engines, a 175-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder or a 256-hp 3.6-liter six-cylinder both mated to a six-speed CVT transmission. Trim specific standard equipment includes 17-inch aluminum wheels, heated mirrors, front fog lights, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, SiriusXM HD satellite radio, Pandora internet radio, Bluetooth, a 7-inch touchscreen display, Aha internet access and STARLINK smart device integration. Safety features such as eight airbags, a rear view camera, stability control, a low tire pressure warning system, and 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist and hill hold control are standard. The Limited trims add a power liftgate, 20-inch wheels, turn signal indicators in the mirrors, heated rear seats, leather upholstery, 12 harman/kardon speakers, a 576W amplifier and a blind spot and rear collision warning system. The Outback carries over with minimal changes for 2016.
