2016 Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid S 4dr Rear-Wheel Drive Hatchback

Overview

The Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid brings sports car performance, advanced fuel saving technology and nontraditional styling to the full-size premium luxury sedan class. The Panamera S E-Hybrid features a 333-hp supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 combined with a 95-hp electric motor and an eight-speed automatic transmission with auto stop-start. The new plug-in lithium-ion battery and more powerful electric motor allow the e-Hybrid to drive electric-only for approximately 19 miles and can be recharged in roughly 2.5hrs on a 240V power source. The body appears to be a four-door sedan but with a coupe-like profile and a power liftgate, rather than a typical trunk, for access to the spacious luggage area. Standard safety features include ten airbags, adaptive bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, rain sensing wipers, full LED rear lighting, four belt pretensioners and electronic traction and stability control. A small sample of optional tech features includes a 6-disc CD changer, Bose surround sound, Burmester surround sound, an electronic logbook and voice control. The Panamera S E-Hybrid is unchanged for 2016.
