Overview

The Chevrolet Suburban gives customers the versatility and spaciousness they need when shopping for a vehicle with the towing and cargo carrying capabilities to meet their lifestyle requirements. Redesigned for 2015, it offers more functionality, greater refinement, new safety features and an increased range of advanced technologies. Projector-beam headlamps flank the Chevrolet-signature dual-port chrome grille and sweep into the front fenders. High-intensity discharge headlamps and LED daytime running lamps are included on the up level LTZ model. A new instrument panel houses an available 8-inch color touch screen radio with a secured storage bin behind the motorized screen. Available in 2WD or 4WD and in three trims, the Suburban seats up to nine passengers. All trims are powered by a 355-hp 5.3-liter FlexFuel V8 engine coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. The new EcoTec3 engine uses cylinder deactivation, direct injection and continuously variable valve timing to maximize power and efficiency. LTZ models include third-generation magnetic ride control, a real-time damping system that delivers more precise body motion control. New functionality and technology features include: fold-flat second- and third-row seats that enhance cargo convenience with an available power-folding feature; available 8-inch color touch screen radio with next-generation MyLink connectivity; up to six USB ports and six power outlets including a 110-volt outlet; and an available rear-seat entertainment system with dual screens and Blu-ray DVD player. A host of new advanced safety features, including Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Side Blind Zone Alert, are now available. Chevrolet's Safety Alert Seat is available and offers directional vibrations to alert the driver about potential crash threats. For 2015, the Suburban has been completely redesigned inside and out with new infotainment choices, safety and security technologies and bold new styling. The 2015 Suburban is engineered to deliver a quieter, more controlled ride and improved steering and braking feel. A stronger, fully boxed, perimeter frame supports payload and trailering capability that body-frame-integral crossovers and SUVs can't match. A new electric power steering system enhances fuel economy and tailors steering assist to vehicle speed.
