Overview
The LINCOLN MKX is the brand's entry into the tough, ever-growing five-passenger luxury crossover segment. The LINCOLN MKX is powered by a 305-hp 3.7-liter V6 that puts power to the ground via a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission and front- or all-wheel drive. Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock brakes, six airbags, electronic stability control with roll control, rear parking sensors, SYNC, and tire pressure monitoring. Rain sensing wipers, blind spot alert, a rear camera and adaptive HID headlights are also available. All the usual luxury features are standard, such as dual-zone auto climate control, leather trim, heated and cooled front seats, remote start and a power liftgate. For those that want even more, optional equipment includes a large glass-paneled sunroof called VistaRoof, heated rear seats, navigation system, rear entertainment system, 20-inch wheels, and a THX certified audio system. For 2011, the LINCOLN MKX showcases the first implementation of a new MyLincoln Touch driver connect system, a technology that manages all the information the driver needs with minimal distraction from the road. For 2011, the LINCOLN MKX has been completely refreshed with new styling inside and out, as well as many new technology features.
