Overview

The Honda Civic Hybrid is one of the most popular compact hybrid sedans in its class. It is based off the regular Civic that has been a best seller in the compact car market for years. The four-door, five-passenger Civic Hybrid is powered by a 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine matched with a permanent magnet electric motor. In total, the Civic Hybrid produces 110 horsepower that is controlled by a continuously variable transmission. Safety features include antilock brakes, front side-impact and side curtain airbags, and active front head restraints. For 2008, the Honda Civic Hybrid receives a tire pressure monitoring system.
