Overview

The BMW 5-series puts an emphasis on the driving experience. This mid-size luxury car remains a true sports sedan and delivers lively acceleration, precise handling and outstanding brakes. The rear-wheel drive 530i and all-wheel drive 530xi feature a 3.0-liter inline-six generating 255 horsepower, with the choice of a six-speed manual transmission, optional six-speed automatic transmission with Steptronic shifting or on the 530i only, a six-speed SMG transmission similar to the one offered in the M3. The 530xi is available in sedan or wagon bodystyles. Standard features include leatherette upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control with active micro-filtration, an AM/FM/CD stereo with 10 speakers, bi-xenon adaptive headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, six airbags and a rechargeable flashlight in the glovebox. The BMW 530 is a carryover from 2006.
