Overview

The Buick Lucerne is an affordable entry-level full-size luxury car. It is a plush, highly competent full-size sedan at a compelling price. The Lucerne is offered in three trim levels: CX, CXL, and CXS. All come standard with a comprehensive list of safety features including six airbags that include a dual-stage driver's bag and a dual depth front passenger bag. Traction control, anti-lock brakes, and a tire pressure monitor are standard on all models. OnStar comes standard with the first year of Safe and Sound service. The CX comes standard with the 197 hp 3.8-liter V-6 engine. The CXL is available with the V6 or 275 hp 4.6-liter V-8. The CXS comes standard with the V8. Both engines come mated to a four-speed automatic transmission standard. The Buick Lucerne is fully redesigned for 2006.
