Aston Martin Vanquish Videos
The Aston Martin Vanquish may not be the sharpest arrow in the supercar quiver, but there's still a lot of charm to this V12-powered GT.
Well, there's something to be said for timing. With the announcement that MI6 Agent James Bond would take the wheel of the all-new Aston Martin DB10 in his next film, Spectre, Xcar has taken a look back at 007's most iconic vehicle – the DB5. There's also something about some such special edition Vanquish, but it all kind of pales in the glory of the iconic DB5.
Arguably one of the most crucial operations of the second World War, Operation Mincemeat was a British disinformation mission responsible for misdirecting Axis forces towards Greece and Sardinia, and in turn, opening up the Italian island of Sicily. That led to the downfall of Italian dictator Benito Mussolini and opened up the soft underbelly of Hitler's Third Reich.
Aston Martin and tuxedos go together like gin and vermouth, but those looking for that extra degree of formality need look no further than the British automaker's Carbon editions. Aston has bestowed the blacked-out treatment on the Vantage, DB9 and DBS, and has now turned its attention to the flagship Vanquish.
Aston Martin markets itself as offering the classy alternative to hardcore sports cars. Its vehicles are certainly capable, but they are also sold as offering an extra dose of luxury to go along with their power. The company is leaning hard into that image in a new short film called The Art of Vanquish.

Perhaps you've already watched the World's Greatest Drag Race 3, and after doing so wished the background music and narrator Angus Mackenzie (and his hat) would disappear and let you enjoy the sound of 12 high-performance engines uncorked at the same time for a quarter mile. Well, the people at Motor Trend have granted your wish and published an unplugged version of the drag race. And the sounds the cars make - now that's music to our ears!
As part of Motor Trend's Best Driver's Car competition, the buff book has held its third iteration of the World's Greatest Drag Race. With an airfield and a dozen of the world's finest performance cars at its disposal (oh, and a helicopter), the MT team did what any good group of enthusiasts would do, and tried to figure what car could cover a quarter mile the quickest. World's greatest drag race, indeed.
Jay Leno always seems to lay his hands on some of the best cars – new or old – that have ever been created, so you'd think there aren't many new models that can impress the comic any more. Well after watching the latest installment of Jay Leno's Garage, the collector car king has had some time in newly updated 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish, and if we're not mistaken, he's downright giddy about it.
Aston Martin was founded on January 15, 1913, and to celebrate 100 years, the British automaker has many events planned... but it's going to be hard to top the festivities that took place in Dubai. Like everything else in this city, Aston Martin went over the top to show off the Vanquish to a select group of dignitaries on the helipad of the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel. In addition, the Vanquish, Rapide, V8 Vantage and DB9 will all be offered with a Centenary Edition model with production limited
The multimedia dam has finally been opened on the Aston Martin Vanquish. The curviest version of Aston's muscled design language spent a bunch of time in Italy with Aston's favorite photographer, Rene Staud, showing off its angles and colors in the Tuscan dusk.
After what started with a puzzlingly innocuous 'reveal' at Villa d'Este, the debutante known as the Aston Martin Vanquish has now been officially and formally introduced. With the DBS having nearly cashed its chips – it carries on with special editions for now – this is the new ultimate Aston.
