The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq is the American luxury brand’s first all-electric vehicle. It uses GM’s Ultium electric powertrain platform, and this RWD Lyriq has 340 horsepower, 325 pound-feet of torque and 312 miles of driving range. Designers were essentially given license to start from scratch, so all of the interior pieces are unique and of excellent quality, and the attention to detail is impressive. Here we give you a walkaround tour of the Lyriq midsize crossover EV, and point out some of our favorite interior and exterior details. Take a look at the 33-inch infotainment and driver display screen, useful storage solutions, interesting materials, spacious cabin and design elements.

JOHN SNYDER: Hello there, John Snyder with Autoblog here. In front of me is the 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ. It's the brand's first EV, so let's take a look around. This is the nose that everyone knows from the teaser photos.

The door handle, you press it and then door opens a little bit on it's own. Really, really nice interior here. This is all laser etched with a thin sheet of metal behind it and light behind that.

Switchgear, it's all really, really nice. Very tactile. You see this sort of pattern repeated a lot of places. They said they didn't want to hide the cupholders, they wanted to highlight them.

Volume control. There's one way to adjust your infotainment. So this has Super Cruise and there's the steering wheel and its various controls. There's the big 33-inch, curved LED display.

Seats are really nice. These are synthetic. I like the blue piping in this trim level.

Also, a really nice speaker cover. This metal extends all the way back here. Oh yeah, a little Easter egg there.

Back seat, also very nice. Got a lot of room to sit behind myself. Very comfortable seats. Got a little 120 volt outlet, two USB-C.

To open up the rear, press that. There's a little towel back there for wiping it down. I don't think that's a factory option, but cargo area has a place for the cargo cover and the dual level charging cord that comes with the vehicle.

It's just a really, really nice everywhere. It's just the attention to detail is fantastic. I'll give you a little walk real.

Nice profile. They all have a glass roof. Some of them open, some of them do not.

Love this rear lighting. You got some right here and in this bar, it comes across the back of it. But just really nice craftsmanship, especially on the inside.

I love this little, it's almost like a jewelry box. It's got hand sanitizer and stuff in there right now, but this is leather. This is lined with this blue leather. Storage bin down there, also lined with leather, underneath this sort of floating console.

I love this two different finishes. It's like a smooth one and then there's a brushed metal finish. You'll see that throughout the car in different places too. And you'll see this jeweling all over the place.

And it's just really, really nice in here. And then you've got your regular mirror or your digital mirror. Well, here it is, 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ. Thanks for watching.
