ALEX KIERSTEIN: The rear seat area is probably my favorite part of the Ram 1500, and that's not because I don't like to drive. It's because there's a lot going on back here, and it's a pretty cool space. So for one, compared to the previous generation of Ram, this rear seat area is 3 inches longer. And that gives you a much larger space to play around with just in general.

So let's just show you what that space looks like with the seats folded up. You can see there's a huge area down here with a flat load floor where you could fit boxes or tools or a generator. I mean, large equipment can just slide in here. The door opening is nice and big, so that's cool.

You also have little-- you know, not quite Easter eggs, but just more good storage options down here. These are the Ram boxes. Just a nice space. You got wet gloves, you've been skiing or something, you've got a small trout you want to just store in here for a little bit-- sure, whatever you want to do. It's waterproof. The liner comes out clean. Just neat details.

Now let me get inside here and talk about this area right up here. It looks like just cup holders, but it has a neat dual function. You can put a tablet in there, and the rear seat passengers can watch a tablet. It holds it at the right angle to just have it sit there, play a movie, whatever you want.

So nice functional space, lots of options in here for storage. And also, you've got to talk about rear seat comfort. The leg room back here is immense. It's like a like a limousine. So the rear seats are very comfortable. The back is at a nice angle. Even this lower trim truck, this is a big horn. There's a nice, comfy armrest.

This is a nice place to be. This is one of the better trucks on the market to be a backseat passenger in.
