Production Manager Eddie Sabatini shows you how to access both the frunk and trunk in the 2018 McLaren 570GT. There is more than one way to access both storage areas.
TranscriptEDDIE SABATINI: Hey, guys. Eddie Sabatini here. We are with the 2018 McLaren 570GT. And what we wanted to show you with this shortcut is how to access the frunk and the trunk.
Just because it's a supercar doesn't mean you can't-- you don't need to be hauling stuff. But you need to know how to do that. So first up, you've got the key fob here. Two buttons. Pretty clear, based on the picture there.
Let's hold down the frunk button.
[FRUNK POPPING]
And then you hear this depress. And then with just the easy lift of the hand-- I'm doing this one-handed-- very easily lifts up-- hydraulically held into place. And you can see, you've got tons of room to haul groceries and camera equipment.
I found it more than enough room to haul my work bag, and some camera gear, and even a bag of groceries. So maybe it's the ultimate commuter car. I don't know.
All right. Come around here. Got [? Amar ?] behind the camera. I'll show you, on the driver's side door, there's another button for the frunk. And then finally, on the inside of the center stack, there's two buttons-- one for the frunk, one for the trunk.
And then if you just follow me around back again, I'll show you what this rear cargo area looks like. It's-- it's not-- not that big. But maybe you can get a couple of suitcases and a bag of groceries, maybe a small duffel bag. Here you go, again on the key fob. I hold it down.

And then you watch that pop up. Lift this glass. I'm doing it one finger-- it's very light-- very easy, held into place, hydraulically. And then you see you've got this raised area here with some tie-downs for your luggage. And then it slopes down there with a little bit more room.
