[CAR REVS]

SEYTH MIERSMA: So I have to say that my initial impression of what this car was going to be like was entirely wrong. I heard over 700 horsepower, four-wheel drive, and kind of a lot of weight, if you think about it, for a coupe. And I didn't exactly expect this Aventador to feel particularly nimble. And the truth is, it really does. The car will let you play. If you super screw up going into a car, it will definitely let you know. I got it squirrelly a few times sort of trying to figure it out.

But when you hit it right, there's so much grip at such phenomenal speeds that it's just mind-blowing, frankly. Magnetic dampers and push rod suspension make this rather large car [INAUDIBLE] along just like a race car. And I mean, you know, not to be cute, but the best thing of all is when you put your foot down, it does this.

[CAR REVS]

Sadly, I wish that Lamborghini had set it up so that I could spend all day in the car, either on the track or out in the Spanish countryside. My time is going to be coming to a close.

I wish I could say, go out there and put your name down at your local Lamborghini dealer and buy one of these. The truth is, the car that I'm in right now is number 1 of 600 that they will make in total. They didn't give me a hard number, but the Lamborghini people indicated that most of the production run is already spoken for. So chances are, looking at pictures of this car and watching videos is as close as lot of people are ever going to get to being in it. I feel really lucky. Thanks again for tuning in, you guys. For Autoblog, I'm Seyth Miersma, and we'll see you on the next one.
