Watch Travis Pastrana put on a show at Red Bull Straight Rhythm event

With experience competing in rallying, the NASCAR Nationwide series and other forms of motorsport, Travis Pastrana just seems to love anything with an engine. However, he first gained popularity for his ability on a dirt bike, especially when it comes to jumping them at the X Games, which is why we were so excited to hear that he would be back on a cycle in the dirt for the Red Bull Straight Rhythm.

The competition challenged dirt bike riders in a tournament over an obstacle course in a head-to-head drag race. To make it to the next round, a competitor had to win two out of three heats. Pastrana had a GoPro strapped to the top of his helmet for the race, and the result was some fanatic POV footage.

It's fascinating to watch Pastrana (who didn't end up winning the event) and competitor Josh Hansen duking it out. You can see the spots were Pastrana is able to pick up speed or lose time as the crowd cheers them on. Plus, Pastrana's big finish is something to really flip over.
