A 3-D Printed Car To Drive Across America

The Urbee is shaped like a bean and may lead to practical advances in car's of tomorrow

You have heard of 3D printed tools, furniture and even guns. It is not surprising that the tech craze has caught on in the automotive space.

Come 2015, Cody and Tyler Kor plan to drive a mostly 3-D printed car they are calling the Urbee from New York to San Francisco to New York City and back. In a test of sustainability and efficiency, the two expect to burn just about ten gallons of gas per each country crossing.
