Prom-Bound Teenagers Rescue Car Accident Victims

Limo driver calls them "Best-dressed rescue team ever"

A group of Florida teenagers on their way to the prom leaped out of their limousine and rescued a family from a car accident Saturday night.

Approximately 20 students came to the aid of seven passengers in the van, which began swerving and tipped along Interstate 595 in Davie, Fla., according to ABC News, which first reported the story. The five adults, a 9-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl all escaped with minor injuries, according to the network.

Ambulances transported the victims to an area hospital, and the teenagers proceeded to the prom, arriving only 15 minutes later than planned. Their limo driver called them, "The best-dressed rescue team ever."
