Car Dealership Nearly Surrounds Hawaii Man's House

Despite odd circumstance, he's in no rush to change environment

At first glance, it appears a Hawaii man lives at a local car dealership. Look a little closer, and you'll find that Bishop Kamahiai and his family don't actually live there. His house is just engulfed by the dealership.

The dealership, Cutter Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Pearl City, surrounds Kamahiai's house on three sides.

It's been this way since the 1940s, when the dealership, under a previous owner, began buying land around the house, which has been in Kamahiai's family just as long. So far, he's not interested in selling.

"I've got no complaints with them," he tells KITV. "If we have a problem, say for example, the lights are on all night, I'll call them up, and they get right on it."
