Detroit Bike City documentary shows fun of pedaling in Motor City

When you think of Detroit, two wheels is not the number that usually comes to mind. And getting around the motor city without a motor? It seems so... so... healthy.

Filmmaker and biker Alex Gallegos shows that riding a two wheeler in Detroit is a lot more common and a lot more fun than you might think. With the national media so concentrated on presenting Detroit as a dingy, crumbling urban core, it's nice to see a short film that reveals not only the beauty of the city's landscape but the joy and community felt by many of its citizens.
