At an event to celebrate the U.S. debut of Cantamessa Jewelry in the the Manhattan Motorcars Showroom, we spoke to supermodel Irina Shayk about her experience behind the wheel and the sex appeal of certain vehicles.
You may have enjoyed seeing Irina on the cover of the latest Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, but it might not be such a pleasant experience catching her on the road: Shayk does not have a license.
"In Russia, you know, we're driving without license," she said, off-handedly. "We don't even actually need it."
It turns out she relies on her assets to stay out of trouble with the law.
"You know, when the police man stop me I just can smile and be like..." she said, stopping to bat her eyes and laugh mischievously.
As far as matching the bombshell beauty with cars, we wondered if she ever modeled on a sports car.
"Maybe soon," she said. "After Sports Illustrated five years, we'll find the right pose...with a great car."
