ECUV's first road tests on YouTube

I couldn't find any information about the Electric Commuter Urban Vehicle after seeing three videos of its first test drive just posted on YouTube. There are a few beautiful concept drawings from Axius Designs on its website that notes the project is being developed under the direction of the Guangdong Science and Technology Bureau in China. The goal apparently is to develop a 5-seater taxi that's completely electric. The test videos don't give away much except that the vehicle looks lightweight and roomy. The design drawings imply body-on-frame construction, probably to reduce manufacturing and service costs. My guess is that the body would be constructed of an advanced composite material to keep the weight down. You can find the other two videos by searching for "ECUV."
