We just received a tip from the son of the editor of World of Cars. Apparently, the 2007 edition of this automotive encyclopedia is out, and to celebrate the launch, they are giving away a digital copy of the 2006 edition.
According to Media Connection, World of Cars is the world's largest printed car directory covering 1,500 makes and 4,000 models from around the globe. The guide itself is published in Poland and has been cataloging cars since 1991. This year marks the second year they've done an English language edition.
They are hoping that seeing last year's complete volume will spur sales of the guide for '07. Once you see the nearly 500-page guide, you'll understand the appeal of a thorough listing of every car on the market for that year.
