Today's kei-car news comes from Mitsubishi, which just introduced a revised version of its little Minica. Don't look for anything new on the outside, as the changes are under the skin, green-minded and affect all three trim grades -- Voice, Pc, and Lyra.
The little Mitsu's 660cc engine now gets a 4-star emissions rating, meaning that the tailpipe emissions are 75% below the 2005 Japanese Emission Standard. In addition to that, some Minicas (4WD 3-speed auto versions of the Voice and Pc are excluded) now also conform to the the country's 2010 Fuel Economy Standard, obviously ahead of schedule.
