Tennessee potential U.S. biodiesel center says senator

/
Though there are currently only fifty locations in Tennessee to purchase biodiesel, Tennessee Senator Lamar Alexander said the "Agriculture and Commerce" state could become a major biodiesel center. The senator, speaking at the Nashville Auto Diesel College with representatives from clean energy groups, soybean growers, and auto mechanics, pointed out the state's abundant land and highway system would make it easy to increase and transport soybean yields. He plans to obtain more information on soybean production in Tennessee to present to the federal government later this week.
