TechnoRide's Bill Howard reports that magazine
Consumer Reports (CR) has joined the car blog scene with its own official blog, "
Notes from the test track". Mike Quincy is the main scribe to the site.
Howard spends some time discussing CR's current posts that touch on stuff like Mercedes-Benz's electrifying entrance at the New York International Auto show and the Toyota Sienna's run-flat tire issues. He likes how CR's writing style has become more lively and references the "gearheads" that write for the well-known consumer guide. He did find, however, CR's rating reference at the end of each review a bit irksome.
