Get electrified with the 2007 Mercedes E-class in New York

Amid a reportedly "artistically staged" lightning storm, Mercedes-Benz will unveil its 2007 Mercedes E-class, a vehicle the automaker claims is the cleanest, most efficient, safest and most valuable E-class to date. From the release, it appears that a California-based special effects company will generate the lightning with what they call a "Tesla Coil,” which generates lightning that attendees to Mercedes' press conference will not only be able to see, but also to hear. "Professional stuntmen in futuristic protective clothing will stimulate the electrical energy required for extremely striking scenes, and spark excitement among the public."

Ooooooh, ahhhhhh.
