Toyota to offer hybrids across its lineup

/

Toyota is so sold on hybrids that it plans to offer hybrid models across its lineup, from the tiny Vitz to the huge luxury LX 470. The company, best known for its Prius hybrid, plans to have the green machines available and selling over 1 million units by 2012, upping the role hybrids play in Toyota's sales numbers from 3 to 10 percent.

Toyota has slowly been making inroads in the direction of a full hybrid lineup, with its Highlander SUV, Camry and Lexus GS sedan among the vehicles already in dealer showrooms or making the auto show circuit.
