Tower Automotive's attempt to void its labor contract was to have gone in front of a bankruptcy judge today, but the case has been delayed for undetermined reasons. The case is now said to be up for review sometime later this month.
The decision to push back the day of reckoning likely has Tower's customers (the Big Three and many transplants) breathing a sigh of relief, but it's unlikely that there's any reason to express optimism. Those of the "No news is good news" school of thought are encouraged to share why this might be a positive sign in the 'comments' area.
