Toyota growth driven partly by new dealers in 2006

/

Jim Press, head of Toyota North America, announced at the National Automobile Dealers Association conference that of Toyota's 5-10 percent growth expectations for 2006, half of it will come from dealer expansion in the form of new dealerships or expanding current facilities -- and with a group that, on an individual dealer-per-dealer basis, outsells its competition, that can only mean big things for Toyota.

The other half will be product-driven by new models like the Toyota RAV-4, FJ Cruiser, Camry Sedan, and Yaris, and Lexus ES and LS.
