Worker killed at Ford Plant in industrial accident

Bill Neill, a 40-year employee of Ford’s Sterling Hts., MI axle plant, was killed last Thursday on the job when a piece of heavy equipment fell on him. It appears that Neill’s death was an accident, and it is the first fatality the plant has ever experienced.
Neill, a millwright at the plant, is described by many coworkers as “very smart and intelligent,” “a real professional,” and “a good worker”. Friends say that Neill was looking into retirement the last few months and had begun taking preparatory classes offered by the plant.

Bill Neill is survived by his wife and daughter.
