Automobile AB will be joining
—Bioethanol for Sustainable Transport—a loose organization whose goal is to speed the introduction of bioethanol fuel to Europe. Other members include Genoa University (Italy), Umea University (Sweden), Imperial College (UK), and Tsinghua University (China).
Some of the group’s goals include the establishment of 140 bioethanol pumps to power eventually 10,000 bioethanol vehicles on Europe’s roads. (See

The city of Stockholm will coordinate BEST’s efforts.
