Delphi CEO hauled in $3.87M in compensation last year

Well, I think we've figured out why Delphi chief Steve Miller has been talking about "soft landings" and generally has been much more pleasant than usual - the brightened mood was probably brought about when he received his W2 for 2005.
Miller is said to have received a total of $3.87M in compensation for his work last year. $3M of that is the signing bonus he received for agreeing to captain the sinking ship, while $875,000 represents the pro-rated chunk of his $1.5M salary (which has been reduced to $1 for 2006).
