TrafficGauge

One device showing up in many luxury vehicles is a GPS system that beams real-time traffic data to the vehicle. The Acura RL and the Cadillac CTS have such systems available.

Now drivers in San Francisco can access the same data. Called the TrafficGauge, this Palm-esque device displays traffic conditions in the Bay Area where traffic is moving at 40 mph or faster; 20 mph to 40 mph; and below 20 mph. The device does not show streets or the cause of traffic slow downs (e.g., dog on freeway).

TrafficGauge is also available for Seattle, Washington and Los Angeles, California.
