Jeep will be setting up an outdoor exhibit, just across the street from Cobo Hall, for the 2006 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. To be blunt, this sounds like an idea that came from someone who hasn't spent much time in Michigan during January, but the idea was developed by an ad agency based in Pontiac, MI.
Having survived some nasty winters here myself, I assure you that I'm no cold-weather wimp - but I can also assure you that if the weather resembles what it was like last year, you'll find the odds very slim that this member of the Autoblog team will be spending any great length of a time checking out the new Wrangler. On the other hand, we might see a beautiful sunny 40-degree day. Yep, this is an idea that should have been saved for the LA Auto Show.
