Ascari KZ1 breaks into Top Gear's top five

While this may not be news to some of our English mates who get to watch Top Gear on the telley whenever they fancy, we've just learned that Ascari KZ1 has broken into the top five on Top Gear's Power Lap list. The list is comprised of cars with the fastest lap times around Top Gear's own test track and includes the likes of Maserati's MC12, Ferrari's Enzo, the Ariel Atom, Porsche Carrera GT, and now the Ascari KZ1. The Mercedes McLaren SLR was forced to give up its fifth place seat for the Ascari, which snuck onto the list with a time of 1 minute, 20.7 seconds.
