Automotive Turkeys of 2005

Sometimes, cars just don't sell. They might be beautiful, hailed by the media as genius, and lauded by consumers who get a glimpse of them tooling down the highway. Yet they just don't sell.
Forbes put together a list of this year's automotive turkeys compared to their sales in 2004, and the results might surprise you. The Mercedes CL-Class coupe, for example, is due to be replaced sometime soon, putting off purchases some time into the future. The Audi TT coupe and convertible are also great cars that just happen to be old news. Some are more obvious, however, like the Land Rover Freelander, current Volvo C70 convertible, Volkswagen Phaeton and Mitsubishi Montero.
