James Bond's Aston Martin up for auction

The 1964 Aston martin DB5 driven by Mr. Bond in the movies Goldfinger and Thunderball will be sold at RM Auctions' Vintage Motor Cars in Scottsdale, Arizona, on January 20th, 2006. The Aston Martin includes a pair of non-firing .30 caliber Browning machine guns, a wheel-mounted tire slasher, an oil-slick ejector and a smoke-screen system. Sounds like the perfect car for the morning commute. Unfortunately the ejector seat was replaced with a standard non-ejecting seat.

In addition to the Bond car, RM Auctions will be selling an armor plated 1928 Cadillac built for Al Capone (valued between $250,000 and $500,000). And if you're looking for a bit of tacky country singer memrobilia, you can get Hank Williams Jr.'s 1964 Pontiac Bonneville, which is decorated with pistols, horseshoes, silver horse heads and a saddle. I'm sure they'll even toss in the steer horns on the grille. That gem is valued at $100,000 to $200,000.
