Mercedes-Benz B-Class set to debut Down Under

While already on sale in Europe, the new B-Class from Mercedes-Benz will travel to the land of dingos and Heath Ledger to makes its Aussie premiere at the Sydney International Auto Show next month. The B-Class is a tight little ride, like MB's version of a PT Cruiser with class. Our friends over at eMercedesBenz.com have the full press release on the Australian version of the B-Class and they ask again whether or not MB should sell the B-Class in North America. Of course, they're a blog about Mercedes-Benz so their answer is affirmative, but I'm not so sure a vehicle of this type would sell well with an MB sticker price, especially considering such less expensive alternatives as the aforementioned PT Cruiser, Chevy HHR, and Mazda5.
