Bush calls on Americans to conserve gas

In a news conference Monday, George W. Bush called upon Americans to conserve gas to minimize the economic impact of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Response has been mixed, with many liberals linking high oil prices to the President's foreign policy choices in addition to the hurricanes and many conservatives calling for more U.S. refinery capacity.
