EDAG Show Car No. 8

I'm continually amazed at all these weird cars that debuted in Frankfurt while I wasn't looking. Add the EDAG Show Car No. 8 to the list. This Kermit-colored roadster is considered a "study" at the moment, with an on-road prototype planned for the 2006 Geneva Show next year. EDAG Engineering + Design AG is responsible for the sporty appearance of the car, which is actually a Smart Roadster under the surface. The big selling point of the Show Car No. 8 is that it can be produced using existing production facilities, mainly the one in Hambach, France that will soon be idle after the Smart Roadster is discontinued.
