Porsche profits increase again

Among other Frankfurt auto show announcements, Porsche CEO Wendelin Wiedeking said that the company expects to report increased profits for the 11th year in a row. Revenues for the year ending July 31st rose nearly 7 percent to $8.1 billion, while the number of vehicles sold increased 15 percent to 88,379 units, based on strong demand for Boxster and 911 models.
