File this one under "Freakin' Sweet Videos". Our intrepid boss, Jason Calacanis, sent us a link to a page on Mercedez-Benz Canada's website that has videos of the smart fortwo being crash tested in-house by MB and by Transport Canada. The first video on the list of the little European car playing chicken with an MB E320 is shocking. The bigger sedan destroys the front third of the fortwo, although the little car seems to have a pretty solid passenger cell that protects occupants in collisions with larger vehicles. Of course, size does matter in an auto accident so there's only so much safety engineers can do to prevent injury to occupants of small vehicles. Go down to the Transport Canada videos and you'll find top speed, slalom and braking test videos, all produced and put to music by those crazy Canadians.
