Honda finds gene for cultivating rice – no joke

If I were a stand up comic, I would sit in my room all day and try to think up stuff like this. Luckily I'm not a comic and the universe just serves up these little gems every once in a while. I'll just quote the article, which serves up the joke and punchline quite nicely on its own.

Honda Research Institute, a research house set up by the automotive giant to explore emerging technologies, and Nagoya University have isolated a gene in rice that could make it easier to grow generations of the plant more rapidly.

The title of this post could also read, "Honda develops new marketing strategy to sell Civic".

[Thanks John for the tip]
