According to information collected by GfK Automotive, the automotive wish lists of men and women occupy opposite ends of the car buying spectrum. The automotive research firm collected data from 200,000 U.S. households concerning what new vehicles people intended to purchase next. The results are two top ten lists that illustrate with clarity what men and women find important when purchasing vehicles. For instance, the number one choice for men is the Porsche 911 coupe, for women the Pontiac G6 convertible. 'Nuff said there. The least expensive car that men desire most is the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (#2), while the Kia Rio (#9), Optima (#10) and Suzuki Forenza (#2!) all garnered top ten spots for the ladies.
