Ford Fiesta gets facelift

File this under "Not for U.S", but Ford is face lifting it's Fiesta model. The thinly disguised Fiesta can be seen at Autocar's website. The updated car has a sharper front fascia, with a more defined grill and much nicer headlights. Similar design enhancements were made on the rear of the car as well. The Fiesta's interior is also redesigned.
American buyers do not have the option to own a Fiesta. The lower end of Ford's line up in America will be filled by the US Focus, not a C1 derivative or a lower end model like the Fiesta. The small car market in Europe is a lot larger than it is here, and the wide variety of small car choices is necessary to meet widely different car-buying budgets and tastes.
