Hyundai wants 150,000 Sonata sales

Hyundai has boosted to quality, boosted the design, boosted the price and now the sales numbers have gotten a boost too. Last year 107,189 Hyundai Sonatas were sold in the U.S. but Hyundai wants 150,000 full-year sales for the new car. The new Montgomery, AL, plant will officially open May 20 and has the capacity to build 300,000 vehicles, split evenly between the Sonata and the 2006 Santa Fe SUV. Sonata advertising will focus on its value versus the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.
