Dodge to auction off 1st Charger

The marketing geniuses at DaimlerChrysler have whipped up the idea of eBaying the very first Dodge Charger to roll off the line to one lucky person. The online auction begins February 1 through Feb 11 and the winning bid will not only receive the fully loaded Charger but also the NASCAR shell from the Detroit Auto Show presentation signed by race car driver Kasey Kahne, Richard Petty and the man himself Dieter Zetsche. There will also be two tickets to a Nextel Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway. And according to the disclaimer 90 percent of the proceeds will go to benefit the Victory Junction Gang Camp and the Salvation Army.
