How picky are you?

We couldn't let this ode to the Dodge Stratus slide by our mean spirited spin room. Dan Jedlicka of the Chicago Sun-Times (and MSN Autos) either has no clue or is just getting lazy. He ends his unfathomably positive rundown of the aging Dodge Stratus with this line "It's not as polished as top foreign rivals, but how picky are you?" Well we're picky enough to say the Dodge Stratus is possibly the very last car we'd pick in this segment behind the Pontiac G6, Chevy Malibu, Mazda 6, Toyota Camry, Subaru Legacy (non GT), Mitsubishi Galant, Honda Accord…what's left? Only the Ford Taurus might not win us over when slotted next to a Stratus. And we say "might." The Saturday Night Live skit with Will Farrell screaming at his dysfunctional family's dinner table "I drive a Dodge Stratus" to cement his lameness comes to mind.

Contest: If you can guess who was the host of the SNL episode referenced above you'll win an Autoblog prize. Seriously we'll give you something cool.
